Size: 0.3 – 0.75 meter

Flowering Time: J F M A M J J A S O N D. This species has long underground stems. Occurs widely through the landscape but especially in damper soils. Can colonise open sites, particularly grasslands.

Requirement: It is found in winter wet depressions and along creeks and rivers throughout a large area through the Wheatbelt, Peel, South West, and Great Southern regions where it grows in sandy-clay-loam soils.
